"Let's Stay Together"

The first daughter born after four sons. "Senora Jr." became known affectionately as "Sis" or "Aunt Sis" to her many nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Washington High School in May 1950, she joined Furman, Aileen, and their families in Charlotte for a few years while working and attending school.
In 1953 Senora relocated to New York where she held several jobs, including working at Macy's Department Store while attending Monroe Business School.
The Bridges bond is very strong, and Senora was extremely happy to have family join her in New York.
First to arrive was Trilby, "Sister" Crowe, then brother Bill followed by Mommie Esther, Joseph "Little Bill," and his siblings. Even Eloise, Pauline, Billy, and Deawood Jr. called New York home for a short time.
In 1957 Senora married Robert Peterkin (originally from Blenheim, South Carolina), and this union was blessed with one beautiful daughter Andrea Renee.
In 1992 Senora retired from Grey Advertising, "Inc. after 26 years in the financial services department during which time she also fulfilled a dream deferred. In May, 1993 she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of New Rochelle.
As an active member of Friendship Baptist Church, Senora serves on the Deconess Board, the Board of Christian Education, and teaches kindergarten Sunday School. In addition, she tutors third graders once a week in Math and English at the church's tutorial program, "Ready, Set, Go."
In her spare time, Senora bowls with the seniors twice a month and has joined the Tiver Bank Park where she does eater arerobics three times a week.
Among all her activities, Senora loves walking, especially around "the circle" where she can stop and chit-chat with her family.
