Bridges Family Reunion

Winfred Ora Bridges

Born Decemebr 18, 1917, as the sixth offspring to the union of Joe and Senora Bridges.

She grew up as a hard-working member pf this large farming and attened rural school through the early grades. Life taught her that you are what you want to be. Her favorite things to do were cooking, crochetting, sewing, and worshipping God.

She was married to the late Frank Degree. Winfred is the loving mother of six children:

     Willette Eloise               Wilie Lee                  Franklin Monroe

    Rachel Agnes               Joyce Ann                  Charles Lawerence

She worked at a local mill for several years and later served as a cook at the Cleveland County jail. She returned from this posityion in 1981 to help out at the family homesite. With school to finish high school. She met graduation requirements in 1984.

"Went" as she is affectionately called is a member of Washington Baptist Church and a member of the Liza Roberts Missionary Circle.
